  2. About Rocco Vergallo

    Rocco Vergallo

    Rocco Vergallo  is a research fellow in the Cardiovascular Research Center of Massachusetts General Hospital. He received his MD in 2011 from the Catholic University of Rome and came to Mass General in July 2012 to work with Dr. Jang on the Mass General OCT Registry. His main research interests are investigating the relationship between OCT plaque characteristics and novel circulating biomarkers, and clarifying the mechanisms of plaque vulnerability.
