    Mikhail Y. Kirillin

    Mikhail Kirillin is researcher in Laboratory of Biophotonics of Institute of Applied Physics of Russian Academy of Sciences. He graduated with honors from Physics Department of Moscow State University in 2003 and received his PhD degree from the same institution. In 2008 he received Dr.Sc. (Tech.) degree from University of Oulu. His scientific interests include optics of biotissues and other scattering media, image formation in tomographic systems including optical coherence and diffusive modalities, techniques for optical clearing and contrast enhancement in tomographic images, as well as theoretical description and numerical simulations (in particular, Monte Carlo technique) of light transport in scattering media.
