    Meda-Lavinia Negrutiu

    Meda-Lavinia Negrutiu is Professor at the Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara, School of Dentistry. Her research activities and competences are in the fields of: dental materials and prostheses technology, alternative technologies in prosthodontics; imagistic investigations in dentistry – optical coherence tomography; structural adhesives for optical bonding; unconventional technologies of investigation, analysis, prognosis in dentistry. She has 491 scientific works – 203 of them published (72 listed on the ISI Web of Science) and 288 oral communications at meetings in Romania and abroad. She is an author and coauthor of 20 monographies and 6 courses, co-author of one granted (RO 121317 B1 /29.05.2009) and three in work OSIM patents. Prof. Negrutiu was member in the research team of 11 grants - in 3 of them as Principal Investigator and in one of them partner project responsable. She is member on behalf of Romania in the Management Comitee of the FP7 COST Action MP 1005. She is Visiting Senior Lecturer in the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK. She is member of the West Romania Multidisciplinary Research Association, Romanian Society of Lasers in Dentistry, Romanian Society of Medical Informatics, Romanian Society of Medicine and Biology, Romanian Society of Esthetic Dentistry, Romanian Society of Biomaterials, SPIE, and OSA
