      Purpose: Idiopathic juxtafoveal telangiectasia (IJT) is characteristically associated with pigmentary changes. Polarization-sensitive spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (PS-SD-OCT) enables imaging of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) and similar melanin-containing structures based on specific polarization properties.     Erich Götzinger

    Erich Götzinger was born on April 26, 1973 in Vienna Austria. He studied physics at the University of Vienna. After graduating he started his PhD work in the field of OCT at the Medical University of Vienna. He obtained his PhD in 2007. Ever since he is working as a postdoc at the Center for Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering. His main research interest is polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography.
