About Nicolaus Copernicus University

Nicolaus Copernicus University

Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) founded in Torun in 1945 is one of the biggest academic institutions in Poland with the total number of 14 divisions, 54 faculties and 40.000 students. The Medical Physics Group is part of the Institute of Physics of the Nicolaus Copernicus University.  Department of Biophysics and Medical Physics at the Nicolaus Copernicus University.  The department members use both experimental (optics and optical spectroscopy) and theoretical (quantum chemistry and molecular dynamics) methods to investigate the structure and dynamic of biologically relevant molecules and tissues.  Nicolaus Copernicus University Collegium Medicum is the Medical College of NCU.
