Postdoc Researcher Position in integration of a micromachined endomicroscope for OCT imaging in gastroenterology

The FEMTO-ST Institute (CNRS unit), associated with the Université de Bourgogne et Franche-Comté , announces the opening of a Postdoctoral Researcher position in integration of a miniature endomicroscope based on MOEMS/microoptical technologies for OCT imaging in gastroenterology. This position can start in February 2017. FEMTO-ST is one of 3 largest research institutes in France in the field of Engineering Sciences, having about 730 employees including more than 150 doctoral students. FEMTO-ST facilities offer the full access to a world-class cleanroom facility (class 10/100). The host team is focusing on MEMS and microoptics. FEMTO-ST received funding from the French government ...

    3. Multi-wafer bonding technology for the integration of a micromachined Mirau interferometer

Multi-wafer bonding technology for the integration of a micromachined Mirau interferometer

The paper presents the multi-wafer bonding technology as well as the integration of electrical connection to the zscanner wafer of the micromachined array-type Mirau interferometer. A Mirau interferometer, which is a key-component of optical coherence tomography (OCT) microsystem, consists of a microlens doublet, a MOEMS Z-scanner, a focusadjustment spacer and a beam splitter plate. For the integration of this MOEMS device heterogeneous bonding of Si, glass and SOI wafers is necessary. Previously, most of the existing methods for multilayer wafer bonding require annealing at high temperature, i.e., 1100°C. To be compatible with MEMS devices, bonding of different material ...
