      Spontaneous resolution of foveal detachment in dome-shaped macula observed by spectral domain optical coherence tomography

      Dome-shaped macula (DSM) was described by Gaucher et al as a convex protrusion of macula within a staphyloma in highly myopic eyes that causes visual impairment associated with serous foveal detachment (SFD). We describe a patient with spontaneous resolution of SFD in DSM documented by serial spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT).       Resolution of Acute Photoreceptor Damage as Revealed by Serial SD-OCT

      Purpose: To describe findings in spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) for four patients with acute foveal photoreceptor damage. Case Report: Four patients with acute foveal photoreceptor damage were evaluated by color photography and SD-OCT during follow-up. All four cases were Japanese patients with high myopia. Three were women aged 28, 29, and 46 years and one was a boy aged 17 years. The follow-up ranged from 2 weeks to 3 months.       Spectral domain optical coherence tomography and angiographic findings in multifocal posterior pigment epitheliopathy treated with low-fluence photodynamic therapy

      Purpose The aim was to evaluate spectral domain optical coherence tomographic (SD-OCT), fluorescein angiography (FA) and indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) findings in multifocal posterior pigment epitheliopathy (MPPE) treated with low-fluence photodynamic therapy. Methods A 54-year-old Japanese man with serous retinal detachment (SRD) and pigment epithelial detachment (PED) due to multifocal posterior pigment epitheliopathy in the right eye was managed with ICGA-guided low-fluence photodynamic therapy.
