    1. Comparison of swept source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) and spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) in polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy

Comparison of swept source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) and spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) in polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy

Background Swept source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT, Topcon Medical System, Japan) is known to have longer wavelength than spectral domain OCT (SD-OCT, Spectralis, Heidelberg Engineering, Germany), allowing a deeper penetration into retina and choroidal layers. This objective of this study was to compare the visibility of retinal and choroidal features in polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) using SS-OCT and SD-OCT. Design Prospective comparative observational case series in Singapore National Eye Center (SNEC) Participants There were 20 eyes (20 patients) with PCV confirmed with indocyanine green angiogram (ICGA). Methods Six pre-specified OCT parameters (presence of polyps, sharp pigment epithelial detachment (PED) peak ...

    2. Relationship of Retinal Vascular Caliber with Optic Disc and Macular Structure

Purpose To examine the relationships of retinal vascular caliber with optic disc, macular, and retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) characteristics as measured with optical coherence tomography (OCT). Design Observational cross-sectional study. Methods This study included a subset of healthy children enrolled in the Singapore Cohort Study of the Risk Factors of Myopia (SCORM). Optic disc, macular, and RNFL morphology were measured with Stratus OCT 3. Digital retinal photography was performed and retinal arteriolar and venular caliber measured using validated imaging software. Results One hundred and four children (mean age 11.51 ± 0.52 years; 50% male) were included. In multivariate ...

    3. Corneal Imaging with Anterior Segment Optical Coherence Tomography for Lamellar Keratoplasty Procedures

Ten eyes of eight patients with pathologies involving the corneal stroma and sparing the Descemet membrane (DM) were included in this study conducted at a tertiary care hospital. The indications for DALK included corneal clouding attributable to mucopolysaccharidoses (n = 2), macular corneal dystrophy (n = 5), lattice corneal dystrophy (n = 1), granular corneal dystrophy (n = 1), and stromal scar attributable to infectious keratitis (n = 1). DALK was performed using the big-bubble technique in o
