      Purpose: To compare intraocular pressure, anterior segment optical coherence tomography, and ultrasound biomicroscopy parameters over 3 months after panretinal photocoagulation (PRP) for proliferative diabetic retinopathy after 1 of 2 sittings by conventional laser (half PRP) and a single sitting of Pattern Scan Laser (PASCAL) PRP. Methods: This was a prospective, randomized, interventional study. All tests were performed at baseline, and at 1, 6, and 24 hours, and 1, 4, 8, and 12 weeks after PRP.       BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: To assess the usefulness of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) in cases of idiopathic choroidal neovascularization (iCNV). PATIENTS AND METHODS: Seven eyes with suspected iCNV were evaluated using OCT, OCTA, fluorescein angiography (FA), and indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) and were followed up between 3 weeks and 4 weeks following an intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) injection.       Optic disc melanocytoma (ODM) has been considered as a benign tumor with few reports of malignant transformation. We present swept-source optical coherence tomography (SSOCT) imaging of a case of ODM. As attaining histopathology is impossible in most cases, we discuss the possibility of using SSOCT as a tool for ruling out choroidal invasion or juxtapapillary melanoma.

      Blood flow pattern in a choroidal hemangioma imaged on swept-source-optical coherence tomography angiography

      This report demonstrates the blood flow pattern in a case of choroidal hemangioma (CH) using swept-source-optical coherence tomography angiography (SS-OCTA). Fluorescein angiography, SS-OCT, and SS-OCTA images of a patient with CH were obtained using a standard protocol. The internal vascular pattern of the tumor was identified on both OCT and OCTA. Dark areas were identified in the CH. These were interspersed between areas of visible blood flow, as imaged on SS-OCTA. Peripheral vascular arcades were also identified within the tumor. SS-OCTA should be evaluated as an imaging tool to study the blood flow within choroidal tumors.

      A 6-year-old boy presented as a known case of developmental glaucoma and was using topical travoprost in the right eye (RE) since 1 year. Highest recorded intraocular pressure (IOP) was 24 mm Hg in RE, whereas central corneal thickness was 540 µm. Visual acuity was 6/6 in both eyes. On examination, the anterior segment of both eyes was unremarkable. IOP was 16 mm Hg in RE and 20 mm Hg in the left eye.       Choroidal coloboma is characterised by poor embryonic development of chorioretinal structures and is of different types. We present a case of choroidal coloboma where the retinal pigment epithelium was present, clinically and on imaging, but rest of the structures were poorly formed. This observation suggests that in some cases, fusion of the fetal cleft may occur aberrantly, resulting in an aborted choroidal coloboma. .

      Background Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE) is a potentially fatal complication of measles. The authors report a case of recurrent myoclonic jerks under investigation, whose ophthalmic examination pointed to the diagnosis. Case presentation A 12-year-old boy with recurrent episodes of myoclonic jerks was found to have optic disc pallor and an irregular macular scar with pigmentation in the left eye.       Swept source: optical coherence tomography angiography features of choroidal osteoma with choroidal neovascular membrane

      A 16-year-old boy presented with best-corrected visual acuity of 6/18 OD. OS was within normal limits, as was anterior segment OD. A focal whitish-yellow plaque lesion with overlying areas of depigmentation, and retinal atrophy in the central and superior lateral macula were noted in OD. A choroidal neovascular membrane (CNVM) with subretinal haemorrhage was seen at the lesion's inferior medial edge, involving the fovea (figure 1A). Therefore, diagnosis of choroidal osteoma 1 (CO) was made and confirmed on sonography, with a highly acoustic elevated lesion causing a corresponding shadow (figure 1B).
