      O ptical coherence tomography (OCT) is a quick and noninvasive imaging modality capable of discerning high-resolution morphologic features of the retina and surrounding structures. 1 Over the past 20 years, OCT has evolved to become an integral component of ophthalmic diagnosis, management, and therapeutic monitoring, with an estimated tens of millions of images captured per year. 2 During this time, improvements in OCT technology have enabled the transition from an outpatient imaging modality to the operating room.
