    Submacular hemorrhage (SMH) following ruptured retinal artery macro aneurysm (RRAM) has better prognosis as compared to other etiologies. Timely intervention from as early as 24 h to less than 7 days is known to provide better visual outcomes in such cases. A variety of surgical techniques have been described in the treatment of RRAM.
