PhD position on tunable lasers for optical coherence tomography at the University of Kent
We are recruiting for a PhD Studentship in the fields of Optics and Laser Physics, with emphasis on optical coherence tomography for a period of 36 months starting up to 31 January 2021, within the Applied Optics Group, School of Physical Sciences. This is supported by the Marie Curie Innovative Training Network scheme, 860807, EU funded, jointly organised with 14 other universities, companies and hospitals in Europe. You will spend time at the University of Kent and at the other beneficiaries or associated partners. Supervision will be provided in an European setting where specialized and complementary training will be provided at the training sites as well as during network events. Research will focus on innovative solutions for fast, narrow line width, stable phase and wide tuning bandwidth swept sources for optical coherence tomography.
