    Contribution to Intra-Retinal Fluid Segmentation in Optical Coherence Tomography by Using Automatic Personalized Thresholding

    Background: Cystoid macular edema (CME) is associated to several ocular pathologies and is considered as a principal cause of severe central vision loss. Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) allows the identification of fluid regions and the evaluation of disease severity and treatment efficiency. The quantification of fluid volume may be a useful metric in the diagnosis and the choice of treatment protocols.
