    Editorial Comment: In the last 3 decades, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and, more recently, optical coherence tomography (OCT) have been increasingly used to guide percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Although there are randomized trials, registries, and meta-analyses suggesting better outcomes using IVUS to guide PCI (1–3), data on the clinical impact of OCT are still missing.
