    Variations in retinal nerve fiber layer measurements on optical coherence tomography after implantation of trifocal intraocular lens

    To establish the changes produced after implantation of a trifocal intraocular lens (IOL) on retinal nerve fiber layer measurements performed with Fourier-domain optical coherence tomography (OCT). This prospective study included 100 eyes of 50 patients with bilateral cataract in surgical range, no other associated ocular involvement, refractive errors between +5 and −5 spherical diopters, and less than 1.5 D of corneal astigmatism.
