We analysed affected eyes at baseline and 1 month later, compared to fellow healthy eyes. Utilising novel image analysis software, we conducted algorithmic segmentation in layers and division in early treatment of diabetic retinopathy study (ETDRS) quadrants of optical coherence tomography images of the macula.
