    In a porcine model, implantation of overlapping everolimus-eluting bioresorbable vascular scaffolds (BVS, Abbott Vascular, Santa Clara, California) resulted in delayed struts coverage and higher neointimal response [1] that might lead to important clinical consequences (scaffold thrombosis; in-scaffold restenosis). According to this, any effort to minimize BVS overlap area and the number of overlapping struts is desirable.
