Late stent thrombosis (LST) after drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation remains a dreadful complication.1–4 Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) provide unique insights on the results of DES implantation.1–3 We describe the value of a “combined” use of these intracoronary diagnostic techniques in a patient with DES LST.
