    Spatial Imaging with Wavefront Coding and Optical Coherence Tomography (Book Chapter)
    With wavefront coding the wavefront in the pupil plane of an optical imaging system is modified by introducing a phasemask. The resulting image intensity distribution is processed with an inverse digital filter providing an image of the object with enhanced depth of focus. Optical coherence tomography provides three-dimensional information about the object. The depth resolution is only determined by the coherence length of the light source. New applications and methods based on these techniques are presented.
