    High-Resolution Optical Coherence Tomography Findings in Optic Pit Maculopathy

    Purpose: The purpose of this study was to characterize retinal manifestations of optic pit maculopathy using high-resolution optical coherence tomography. Methods: Consecutive patients with optic pit maculopathy, diagnosed by their typical appearance by ophthalmoscopy, were imaged by color fundus photography and optical coherence tomography. The location and characteristics of any fluid within and under the retina were determined. Results: The mean age of the 16 patients (7 women) was 35.9 years (standard deviation: 18.5 years).
