1. Accuracy in the Diagnosis of Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer

    Early diagnosis is a key factor in the overall prognosis for skin cancer patients. By increasing diagnostic accuracy, a potential decrease in morbidity and mortality of non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) can be achieved. A variety of non-invasive technologies aimed at diagnosing and quantifying skin cancer have been developed during the past decades. Accurate diagnostic test assessment involves several phases and should ideally be performed prior to the clinical introduction of new test or technologies.
