    Seven Fractures in Three Second Generation Drug Eluting Stents Implanted in the Right Coronary Artery Assessed by Using Optical Coherence Tomography

    Although stent fracture seems infrequent, it is regarded as an important complication of coronary artery stenting. According to its type, it might be a cause of restenosis of the lesion which could result in clinically significant consequence such as angina or myocardial infarction. We report a case of a 61-year-old male patient with seven fractures in the three second generation drug eluting stents implanted in the right coronary artery which was assessed by optical coherence tomography.
