Clinical and Optical Coherence Tomography Comparison Between Ocular Surface Squamous Neoplasia and Squamous Metaplasia

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the clinical characteristics and high-resolution optical coherence tomography (HR-OCT) findings between corneal squamous metaplasia and ocular surface squamous neoplasia (OSSN). Methods: A retrospective case-control study of 8 patients, 4 with histologically confirmed squamous metaplasia and 4 with histologically confirmed OSSN, who presented to the Miami Veterans Administration Medical Center and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute between 2016 and 2020 was performed.
