    Introduction The residual SYNTAX score (rSS) as the SYNTAX remaining after completion of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) was proved to be related to poor outcomes. Purpose This study aimed to investigate the association of culprit-plaque morphology with rSS and the predictive value of rSS for major adverse cardiac events (MACE) in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
