    Abstract:

    Drs. Elizabeth Olson and Elliott Strimbu from Columbia University will highlight Phase Sensitive Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography as it relates to nanoscale vibrometry. They will cover in detail the performance parameters of a Thorlabs Telesto for nanoscale displacement measurements in the cochlea and leverage their years of experience in the field to explain the requirements for triggering, data acquisition, and analysis needed to successfully produce findings.

    OCT imaging and vibrometry have revolutionized studies of cochlear function that allow measurements deep within the sensory tissue of living cochlea to locations where fundamental mechano-transduction occurs. Join us to learn more about how research is advancing in this area today!
