    Despite the established usefulness of optical coherence tomography (OCT) guidance in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), the quality of the obtained OCT images is sometimes low due to inadequate clearance of blood flow in cases involving extremely tight stenotic lesions. Increasing the volume of contrast media, generally used for blood flow clearance, is also a problem.
